Fog disrupts flights at Tijuana International Airport in Tijuana, Baja California State, Mexico, Nov. 28; lingering disruptions likely.
Lingering flight disruptions, including delays and cancellations, will likely affect Tijuana International Airport (TIJ) in Tijuana, Baja California State, into at least late Nov. 28 due to foggy conditions. Dozens of flights scheduled to depart from or arrive at TIJ have been delayed or canceled since fog enveloped much of the city from the afternoon of Nov. 27. TIJ confirmed early Nov. 28 that weather conditions had improved but recommended that travelers continue to confirm flight details with their respective airlines.
Any passenger backlogs that have materialized may exacerbate lingering flight disruptions at TIJ.
Confirm flight reservations if scheduled to travel via TIJ. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed. Consider making alternative arrangements for time-sensitive travel if necessary.
