At least two people were killed on the morning of Sunday, June 21, when an explosion severely damaged an apartment building in the Pozniaky area of Kyiv. The explosion, believed to have been caused by a gas leak, destroyed four floors of the building on Petra Hryhorenka Avenue and left a number of residents trapped by rubble. At least three people have been rescued by emergency services and 21 others evacuated from the building, but it is currently unclear whether any other residents remain unaccounted for.
