Spain: Police detain two in anti-terrorism operation in Barcelona July 14

Local police detained two Algerian citizens on Tuesday morning, July 14, during an anti-terrorism operation conducted in Barcelona. The police raid was conducted at approximately 06:00 (local time) in the Barceloneta neighbourhood of Ciutat Vella district. Unverified media reports suggest that the two suspects were arrested on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack.
