Sudan: Gunmen kill two in South Kordofan July 20

At least two people were shot and killed by unknown gunmen on Monday, July 20, in South Kordofan state. Reports indicate that the two victims were between the area of Dara and Saraf Ed Dei, when a group of gunmen ambushed them and shot them.

Long-running tribal feuds between ethnic groups are not uncommon in the state, similar attacks and tribal clashes are possible in South Kordofan state in the near and medium term.
