One round of indirect fire (IDF) has been reported in the vicinity of the British Embassy in the Baghdad International Zone, at 20:15 (local time) on Tuesday, August 11. There have been no reports of casualties or damages. Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, it is thought to have been fired by pro-Iranian hard-line Shia militias.
Similar attacks are possible in Baghdad over the near term.
