A collision between a passenger and a freight train has been reported in the vicinity of the R502 outside Leeudoringstad Dec. 12. The incident occurred during the early morning hours, and at least six people have been wounded. The cause of the incident is currently unknown: however, rail service disruptions in the North West Province are possible for the duration of the emergency operations and investigations by transport authorities.
