South African utility provider Eskom has suspended planned load-shedding nationwide Dec. 13.

South Africa's electricity utilities provider Eskom has suspended nationwide load-shedding nationwide Dec. 13. Load-shedding was announced Dec. 11 for Dec. 12 and 13. Eskom has stated that the load-shedding was suspended because emergency generation reserves had sufficiently recovered. Further short-notice load-shedding remains possible as Eskom continues maintenance of its infrastructure.
