Mexico: Anti-government activists to hold a vehicular protest in Guadalajara, Jalisco, 0900 Jan. 9

Activists affiliated with various organizations opposed to President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO), including the National Anti-AMLO Front (Frente Nacional Anti-AMLO, FRENAAA), plan to hold a vehicular protest in Guadalajara at 0900 Jan 9. The purpose of the demonstrations is to demand the president's resignation over the alleged misuse of funds generated in Jalisco. Demonstrators will gather at Avenida la Tijera from 0900 then march to Glorieta La Minerva Minerva. Additional or unannounced rallies and demonstrations may occur in plazas, city squares, or parks in the city. Hundreds of people will likely participate in the demonstration.
