Event
A collision between a passenger train and a truck has been reported in the Savola industrial area of Khartoum Jan. 20. The incident occurred during the morning hours as the train traveled from Gezira state. The cause of the incident and possible casualties are currently unknown: however, rail service disruptions in the vicinity of Khartoum are possible for the duration of the emergency operations and investigations by transport authorities.
