Spain: Activists demonstrating in central Barcelona evening of March 6

Activists are demonstrating near the Ministry of Home Affairs of Catalonia, near Placa de Tetuan in Barcelona the evening of March 6. The purpose of the demonstration is to denounce the arrest of a musician, Pablo Hasel, who was convicted on charges of glorifying terrorism and insulting the Spanish monarchy. Clashes between security forces and demonstrators have been reported. Additional or related demonstrations are possible.
