Turks and Caicos Islands: Authorities maintain COVID-19-related curfew and other measures through June 30 /update 28
Authorities in Turks and Caicos maintain 23:00-05:00 curfew until June 30; other COVID-19-related measures still in place.
Event
Authorities in the Turks and Caicos Islands will maintain the territory's existing COVID-19-related restrictions through at least June 30. The current nightly 23:00-05:00 curfew will remain in force, with businesses being allowed to operate until 22:00; an exception is in place for hotel restaurants, which may continue their usual operating hours but for hotel guests only. Residents may not leave their homes during curfew hours, except for emergencies, essential work, or travel purposes.
Other measures also remain unchanged. Bars and restaurants may operate at 30 percent capacity or 60 percent capacity if all staff members have been fully vaccinated. Public gatherings and social activities must include no more than 30 people. Attendance at funerals, weddings, and worship services may continue at 30 percent capacity when indoors or a maximum of 50 people when outdoors.
Additionally, certain facilities and establishments must comply with particular pandemic-related mandates, including employing enhanced sanitation procedures, adhering to social distancing standards, and maintaining logs for contact tracing purposes, among others. All individuals must wear protective facemasks in public spaces.
The territory's airports are open for regional and international passenger travel; however, the cruise center remains closed until further notice. All arriving nonresident foreign nationals, returning legal residents, and citizens over the age of 10 must obtain "TCI-Assured" online pre-authorization by providing a negative COVID-19 test taken within five days before arrival, proof of medical insurance which covers COVID-19 medical costs, and a completed health screening questionnaire. Domestic travelers will be subject to temperature health checks.
