Vietnam: Officials suspend flights to Con Dao Airport (VCS) from 17:00 June 5 due to COVID-19 concerns

Authorities will suspend inbound flights at Con Dao Airport (VCS), Con Dao, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, from 17:00 June 5 until further notice. Officials attributed the measure to COVID-19 concerns. Exemptions are likely in place for services carrying medical supplies, among others. It is unclear if outbound flights are affected.

Flight delays may occur after regular services resume as airlines clear backlogs.

Con Dao is around 172 km (107 miles) southeast of Can Tho.
