Wallis and Futuna officials have eased measures territorywide as of June 8 amid no reported COVID-19 activity. The government has ended a curfew in the territory. However, other measures will continue through at least June 20. Officials have also raised the cap on public gatherings to 50 people. Religious services are allowed at 50-percent capacity at 05:30. A facemask mandate and physical distancing requirements remain in effect for all public areas.

Authorities have reopened more nonessential businesses, including restaurants and bars, for outdoor seating only. Capacity remains limited to 50 percent at permitted businesses. Gyms and sporting activities remain prohibited.

Travel Restrictions
The border remains effectively closed as international commercial passenger flights and ships remain banned. However, officials permit flights from New Caledonia. Visitors from New Caledonia and resident French nationals can enter the territory with a travel certificate completed before boarding. Permitted travelers must undergo a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of departure.
