Authorities will temporarily close several airports in and around Tehran 16:30-19:00 Aug. 5 due to the inauguration of incoming President Ebrahim Raisi. The airports affected by the temporary measures include Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA), Mehrabad International Airport (THR), Payam International Airport (PYK), Qazvin Airport (GZW), and Qazvin-Azadi Airport.
Service disruptions are likely; however, officials are likely to reallocate flight arrival and departure times in accordance with airport closures.
