Libya, Tunisia: Shared land and air borders to reopen from Aug. 19 /update 2

Libya's land and air borders with Tunisia are slated to reopen from Aug. 19. Authorities in Libya initially closed the country's borders with Tunisia July 8 as part of their efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19 and its variants.

Residual disruptions to cross-border shipping operations and the movement of goods remain possible given that the borders have been closed for over a month.
