Passenger flights are operating, as are humanitarian, medical, and cargo flights. All incoming travelers must produce a negative result from a COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before travel to be granted entry into Guinea-Bissau. If someone onboard a flight to Guinea-Bissau is thought to have COVID-19, travelers may be required to isolate at one location for 14 days. Travelers not in possession of a COVID-19 test certificate may also face a self-isolation period. Land and sea borders are open.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
Advice
Follow all official directives. Abide by national health and safety measures. Liaise with trusted contacts for further updates and guidance. Maintain contact with your diplomatic representation. Ensure contingency plans account for further disruptive measures or extensions of current restrictions. Reconsider and reconfirm nonemergency health appointments.
