Sudanese security forces clashed with armed militants in Khartoum's Jabra area Sept. 28. The fighting erupted when security forces raided a home where alleged members of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) were present. At least three security officers were killed and one other person was injured in the gun battle. The militants escaped the raid and authorities have launched an operation to locate them.
