As of Oct. 18, maritime pilots represented by the labor union Oficiaismar have canceled a strike planned for Oct. 15-Nov. 15 at Sao Miguel and Santa Maria islands in the Azores after reaching an agreement with port management.

Normal operations are likely at the ports on Sao Miguel and Santa Maria islands.
