Andorra maintaining COVID-19 countermeasures as of Dec. 9; domestic and international entry restrictions slightly amended.

Warning

Event

Authorities in Andorra are maintaining measures imposed to combat the spread of COVID-19 as of Dec. 9 with slight amendments to previous domestic and international entry restrictions.

Domestic Measures
Most businesses can operate subject to capacity limits and social distancing requirements. COVID-19 certificates confirming the holder is vaccinated against, recovered from, or recently tested negative for COVID-19 are required to access certain cultural facilities. Gatherings are limited to six people indoors and 10 people outdoors. Facemasks are mandatory in enclosed public spaces and urban outdoor spaces.

International Travel Restrictions
Although Andorra's borders remain open, foreign visitors must meet travel requirements set by neighboring France and Spain to reach the country. Travelers arriving from non-EU countries other than Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, Vatican City, and the UK must possess a certificate of vaccination against or recovery from COVID-19 or evidence of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before arrival or an antigen test taken within the 24 hours before arrival. Travelers unable to meet this requirement must self-isolate for 14 days on arrival, though this can be reduced to 10 if the traveler tests negative for COVID-19 during this period.

Travelers arriving from Botswana, eSwatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, or Zimbabwe must possess a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival in Andorra and enter quarantine for 10 days on arrival. The quarantine can be ended early following a negative result to a COVID-19 test taken no less than seven days after arrival.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
