Event

Activists plan to march in Brussels Dec. 19 to protest COVID-19-related measures. Participants will gather outside Gare du Bruxelles-Nord from 13:00 before marching to Parc du Cinquantenaire via the Small Ring Inner Ring Road. Hundreds to a few thousand people may participate in the demonstration.

Heightened security, as well as localized business and transport disruptions, are likely. Clashes between police and protesters are possible; security forces have deployed tear gas to disperse recent demonstrations against COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns.
