Heightened security and localized transport and business disruptions are likely through at least early Dec. 24 following an explosion and fire in Tehran's Mallahati Flower Marketplace, late Dec. 23. The incident has killed at least two people and wounded five others. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation. Emergency services are reportedly continuing to respond to the incident.

Authorities may evacuate nearby buildings as a precaution, particularly if they show any signs of damage from the blast.
