Ukraine: Demonstration by entrepreneurs prompts disruption outside Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv, Jan. 25

Entrepreneurs and their supporters are demonstrating outside the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) in Kyiv the afternoon of Jan. 25. Organizers are calling on the government to take various measures to support private businesses.

Police have deployed heavily to the area and partially closed Mykhaila Hrushevskoho Street to facilitate the gathering. Localized traffic disruptions are likely. Significant violence is not anticipated.
