Eswatini: Public workers rally in Manzini Feb. 26

Public sector workers are scheduled to rally at the Swaziland National Association of Teachers (SNAT) Center in Manzini at 10:00 Feb. 26. Participants will gather to denounce poor salaries.

Police are likely to maintain a heightened security presence near the rally venue Feb. 26. Localized disruptions are likely. Any street protests that form have the potential to be disruptive. Widespread violence is unlikely, but cannot be discounted entirely as previous politically motivated demonstrations have degenerated into clashes.
