Ukrainian officials issued a statement Feb. 26 indicating that the curfew times in Kyiv will be extended. The new curfew will run from 17:00-08:00 until the morning of Feb. 28. The military has indicated that all persons in public during this time will be considered enemy combatants. The previous curfew ran from 22:00-07:00. The amended curfew follows Russian military activity in the capital overnight Feb. 25/26.

Amendments to curfews and movement restrictions will almost certainly continue to be made in the coming days in response to conflict developments.

Avoid travel to Ukraine until the situation stabilizes; consider exiting the country if safe to do so. Where fighting or airstrikes are occurring, shelter in place until the situation becomes clear.
