China Eastern (MU) flight 5737 crashed into a forested hill in Teng County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region at around 16:10 March 21. The cause and exact location of the incident remain unclear. The Boeing 737-800 was reportedly en route from Kunming City to Guangzhou City. Authorities confirmed at least 123 passengers and nine crew members were aboard the aircraft. Officials have yet to confirm the number of casualties.
