Officials in Gambia are maintaining COVID-19-related as of March 17.

Domestic Measures
Establishments and facilities must adhere to strict hygiene and social distancing measures. Limited religious gatherings are permitted, provided worshippers adhere to health protocols. The use of protective facemasks is mandatory in public spaces.

International Travel Restrictions
Vaccinated travelers to Gambia are not required to present a negative result from a PCR test to enter the country; however, vaccinated persons who display symptoms of the disease must undergo a rapid diagnostic test (RDT) on arrival. If the result is positive, the traveler will be quarantined.

Unvaccinated travelers must provide a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival. Such travelers may also be required to submit to a second test upon arrival. Those testing positive for the virus on arrival must quarantine at their own expense.

Persons arriving from hotspot countries may face mandatory testing upon arrival. The list is subject to constant changes.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
