Gambia: Ferry service resumes on the Banjul-Barra route on May 10 /update 3

Ferry services between Banjul and Barra resumed on May 10 following vessel maintenance work. National operator Gambia Ferry Services (GFS) officials announced that the vessel Kunta Kinteh resumed operations following major repairs, including the installation of new engines. The ferry will operate on the Bajul-Barra ferry line between 06:00-21:00 over the coming days. The Kunta Kinteh had been out of service since early March.
