Officials are likely maintaining COVID-19-related domestic and international restrictions as of March 28. Associated measures are listed below.

Domestic Measures
Vaccination is mandatory for teachers, employees, and students of higher education, as well as for public transportation, including maritime. Those who cannot provide a vaccination certificate will have to undertake a PCR test every two weeks.

  • Facemasks are mandatory on public transport.

  • Public gatherings are allowed. Social, cultural, and political events are allowed.

  • Nightclubs and bars remain closed.

International Travel Restrictions
Passenger flights are operating, as are humanitarian, medical, and cargo flights. All incoming and departing travelers must produce a negative result from a COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before travel. If someone on board a flight to Guinea-Bissau is thought to have COVID-19, travelers may be required to isolate at one location for 14 days. Travelers not in possession of a COVID-19 test certificate may also face a self-isolation period. Land and sea borders are open.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
