The General Coordination for Refugees and Displaced in Darfur aid group confirmed March 11 at least 19 people died, and another five were injured during fighting between rival armed militias near Jebel Moon, West Darfur State. Clashes broke out the day before, resulting in dozens of homes being destroyed in at least four villages. According to local aid organizations, communications are cut in the area.
