Bulgaria to ease COVID-19 international entry restrictions for travelers from certain countries as of April 13.
Event
Officials are easing the COVID-19 international travel restrictions for certain travelers as of April 13. From this date, travelers from Czech Republic, Egypt, Hungary, Israel, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Turkey will be able to enter without any restrictions; these travelers are no longer required to present a COVID certificate for vaccination, illness or testing.
There are no domestic measures in place in Bulgaria.
International Travel Restrictions
All travelers, regardless of their country of origin, are permitted entry with a valid EU Digital COVID certificate or similar document confirming vaccination against COVID-19, recovery from COVID-19, or a recent negative test result; authorities accept PCR tests no older than 72 hours and rapid antigen tests no older than 48 hours.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
