Authorities in Iceland have lifted all of the country's COVID-19-related domestic measures and international travel restrictions as of April 28.

Domestic Measures
All domestic measures, including restrictions relating to businesses, vaccination certificates, gatherings, and the use of facemasks, have been lifted. However, authorities continue to recommend adherence to certain protective guidelines; for more information, click here.

International Travel Restrictions
There are currently no COVID-19-related international travel restrictions in effect.

Authorities could reimpose any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.

Advice

Follow all official instructions. Consider delaying travel if experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19. Ensure contingency plans account for a possible reintroduction of disruptive COVID-19-related measures. Liaise with trusted contacts for further updates and guidance.
