Employees of the NagaWorld casino and integrated resort may hold additional protests in Phnom Penh after security forces dispersed a NagaWorld workers' protest June 27. Workers were walking along Sothearos Boulevard toward NagaWorld Casino to demand several concessions, including that the casino drop charges against union leaders, when security personnel forcibly broke up the crowd, injuring 10 people. NagaWorld workers have threatened to hold additional protests in the coming days. Possible protest sites include the NagaWorld facilities, government buildings, prominent roadways, and parks. Dozens to hundreds of people may take part in any upcoming action.

Authorities will almost certainly impose heightened security measures and respond promptly to any further rallies.
