Authorities will carry out a planned three-hour closure of Bogota's airspace 10:00-13:00; airlines have been informed days in advance. Additionally, large-scale events, especially marches and parades, are likely to take place in the city centers across Colombia, including Medellin, Barranquilla, and Cali. Street closures and temporary detours are likely.

In Bogota, officials will likely close several roads in the north of the capital for the traditional military Independence Day parade scheduled to take place 10:00-14:00. The parade will take place along Avenida Boyaca, between Calle 127 and Calle 152.

Heightened security and an increased military presence in major cities, especially around parades and near government buildings, are likely. Disruptions to transport is also likely as authorities implement additional security measures.
