Malta to lift remaining COVID-19-related international entry restrictions from July 25.

Event

Authorities in Malta plan to lift the nation's remaining COVID-19-related international entry restrictions. Effective July 25, unvaccinated travelers will no longer be required to present a negative result from a test for the virus or proof of recovery upon arrival.

Minimal domestic restrictions are in effect. Facemasks are mandatory on flights and in certain healthcare settings only.

All restrictions are subject to amendment at short notice in response to government reviews.
