Spain: Ryanair strike to impact flights nationwide July 12-28

Ryanair cabin crew strike in Spain to impact flights nationwide July 12-28. Reconfirm all flights.

Warning

Event

Ryanair (FR) cabin crew members represented by the Union Sindical Obrera (USO) and Sindicato Independiente de Tripulantes de Cabina de Pasajeros de Lineas Aereas (SICTPLA) will strike though July to demand better working conditions. Strike days have been confirmed for July 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, and 28 at ten Spanish airports where Ryanair operates.

Unless averted, the work stoppages will likely prompt significant disruptions to Ryanair flights serving Spain. Resulting cancelations and delays could extend beyond the strike end times as the carrier moves to reposition aircraft and resolve any passenger backlogs.

Advice

Confirm flights if booked to fly on Ryanair flights to or from Spain July 12-28. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed. Consider alternate arrangements for critical travel.
