Organizers have announced participants will gather at 11:00 in front of the Ministry of Inclusion and Social Security; they will start walking at 12:00 toward Plaza de Cibeles where they will hold a rally until 14:30. The purpose of the action is to demand better pensions. Professionals from other sectors, such as doctors, architects, and engineers, have announced they will join the protest. Organizers have announced that several thousand people could join the protest.
Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely near the protest sites. Low-level confrontations between demonstrators and law enforcement officers cannot be ruled out.
