Bulgaria: Authorities extend COVID-19-related indoor facemask mandate in Sofia until Aug. 25 /update 48

Bulgarian authorities have extended the COVID-19-related domestic facemask mandate until Aug. 25; the mandate was initially reintroduced for certain indoor spaces from Aug. 4-19. The measure applies to medical facilities, social services, and public transport. Most other domestic measures and restrictions have been lifted.

Authorities may increase restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
