The Democratic Bulgaria party will lead a protest outside the President's Office on Knyaz Alexander Dondukov Boulevard in Sofia from 18:00 Aug. 24. The party and its supporters will denounce President Rumen Radev's plan to negotiate with Russian state-owned energy company, Gazprom, over the company's return to Bulgaria's market.
Authorities will almost certainly deploy additional police to monitor the gathering. Increased security measures, including movement restrictions, will likely prompt localized transport disruptions. Clashes are unlikely.
