Event

As of Aug. 31, minimal COVID-19-related travel restrictions are in force in Gabon. Domestic restrictions have been lifted.

International Travel Restrictions
The following measures remain in effect:

  • Tourists are not permitted to arrive by land or sea. Cargo transportation and essential services are permitted entry with prior authorization.

  • Travelers entering Gabon are no longer required to show a negative COVID-19 test or provide a vaccination certificate upon arrival, nor are they subject to mandatory testing.

Consider delaying traveling if experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, as they may prompt increased scrutiny and delays. Liaise with trusted contacts for further updates and guidance.
