Austria: Activists plan an anti-fascist rally in Vienna, Sept. 14

Activists are planning an anti-fascist rally in Vienna's Karmeliterplatz from 18:00 on Sept. 14. They will denounce neo-Nazi activity in the city's second district. It is not known how many attendees will gather, or how long the rally will continue.

Police will likely deploy extra resources to facilitate and monitor the rally. Travel disruptions are possible on adjacent roads and on nearby public transport networks. A counter-protest cannot be ruled out and this may raise the likelihood of localized business disruptions, and confrontations.
