Colombia: Shooting in Barranquilla's Las Flores neighborhood early Sept. 12

A shooting incident at a bar in the Las Flores neighborhood of Barranquilla left at least six people dead, and three others injured at around 03:00 Sept. 12. As of 06:00, the police have not specified if they have made any arrests concerning the incident. Officials believe that the incident was a confrontation between local gangs.

Heightened security measures will likely be implemented in the area while police continue their investigations. Localized traffic disruptions will likely persist until police activity has concluded. The police may also conduct searches in the area in the coming days.
