The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced maintenance works will cause water outages across Colombo District, 08:00 Sept. 3-02:00 Sept. 4. Affected regions include Boralesgamuwa, Colombo, Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia, Kaduwela, Katubedda, Maharagama, Kolonnawa, Kotikawatta Mulleriyawa, Ratmalana, and Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte.
Some business disruptions are possible, especially for companies that rely on large quantities of municipal water. While residents typically rely on private water suppliers during water outages, ongoing fuel shortages could limit availability.
