Medical workers affiliated with the Dominican Medical College (Colegio Medico Dominicano, CMD) and various organizations plan to march in Azua Nov. 2. Demonstrators will gather at the Plaza Enriquillo from 09:00 and march to Plaza San Pablo Duarte, the central park. The purpose of the action is to protest the alleged mishandling of pension funds and private health insurance policies.
