Warning

Event

Filipino authorities have canceled all domestic and international flights to and from Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) in Cebu until further notice as of early Oct. 24. The cancellation comes a few hours after a Korean Air (KE) A330 crash-landed late Oct. 23. KE officials have stated that all passengers were safely evacuated from the aircraft following the incident. The KE flight KE631 overshot the runway following two attempts to land due to heavy rain and poor visibility.

Advice

Confirm flights if planning to travel or ship freight to or out of CEB, through at least Oct. 25. If already at the airport, strictly heed the instructions of security personnel.
