The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that maintenance works will cause water outages across Colombo District between 22:00 Oct. 28-10:00 Oct. 29. Affected regions will include Bambalapitiya, Borella, Cinnamon Gardens, Havelock Town, Kirulapone, Kollupitiya, Maradana, Panchikawatta, and Slave Island.
Some business disruptions are possible, especially for companies that rely on large quantities of municipal water. While residents typically rely on private water suppliers during water outages, ongoing fuel shortages could limit availability.
