Bermuda: Officials to further ease COVID-19-related entry requirements from Nov. 14 /update 42

Event

As of Nov. 9, authorities in Bermuda have announced they will remove all the island's COVID-19-related entry requirements effective Nov. 14. Officials will no longer require travellers to apply for COVID-19 Travel Authorization. Visitors not fully vaccinated will no longer be required to provide proof of insurance.

Domestic Measures:

Facemasks are mandatory only in healthcare settings, rest homes, and correctional facilities.

International Travel Restrictions

Requirements for travelers entering from international destinations until Dec. 14 are as follows:

• All individuals, including residents wishing to travel to Bermuda, must apply for government authorization by completing an online form one to three days before departure.

• Travelers not fully vaccinated will need proof of overseas health insurance.

• For children two to 11 years old, their test and quarantine requirements are based on the vaccination status of their parents.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, or further ease restrictions with little-to-no notice, depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
