Unionized police to protest at Brussels (BRU) and Brussels South Charleroi (CRL) airports, Dec. 23. The police union is taking action over pay and pension negotiations, and the protest follows a demonstration in central Brussels Dec. 20. The protest action will likely impact passenger security checks; this will principally affect passengers traveling to, or coming from, outside the Schengen area.

It is not known how many police will protest at each location, however airport authorities have warned of potential delays to airport security checks. Violence is not anticipated.
