Police are responding to a stabbing attack that took place near Brokstedt Station, Jan. 25; reports state the attack occurred on a train traveling between Kiel and Hamburg. The attack occurred at around 15:00; seven people were injured. The casualty figure may be adjusted in the coming hours. The suspected perpetrator is in police custody. Authorities have not currently commented on a possible motive for the attack.
