Students and unionized workers of the National Learning Service (Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje, SENA) have launched a protest for the second consecutive day in Bogota Feb. 24, to demand a higher budget for the institution. Activists have marched through the city's downtown, along Carrera 10, en route to the Finance Ministry located along Calle 7.
Transport disruptions in the area are likely; heightened security outside government buildings is also likely for the coming hours. Violence cannot be discounted, especially if police move forcefully to disperse protesters.
