Colombia: Activists launch protest in downtown Bogota Feb. 27

Students of the Divino Maestro school are protesting near the intersection of Carrera 7 and Calle 153 in Bogota, Feb. 27. Protesters are demanding improved school infrastructure. Participants are blocking traffic in the vicinity.

Localized disruptions in the area are likely, as well as heightened security. Violence cannot be discounted, especially if police move forcefully to disperse protesters.
